Betty's luminescent eyes and famous lashes are the perfect canvas to demonstrate the 'Star' look
Lancome has brought two beauty icons together to launch the new Lancome Hypnose Star mascara.
Betty Boop and international supermodel Daria Werbowy are co-starring in a worldwide campaign to promote Lancome’s latest brand extension.
"Betty's luminescent eyes and famous lashes are the perfect canvas to demonstrate the 'Star' look of lush lashes and deep, intense shadows," the official press statement announced.
Lancome worked closely with King Features the worldwide exclusive licensing agent for Betty Boop, to develop and create original Betty Boop artwork for the campaign.
"We're thrilled to have Betty Boop associated with a prestige brand such as Lancome, and we are impressed with Lancome’s appreciation of how Betty could bring a distinctive dimension to the campaign," said Cathleen Titus, King’s Vice President of International Licensing.
The campaign has made its' debut in the UK and Europe and will arrive in the U.S. at Sephora in early August. From November Lancome Hypnose Star will be available in Macy's, Dillard's, Bloomingdales, Saks, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom.
